I was looking forward to a night of social networking before the end of year is upon us and 27Dinner Jozi seemed like the perfect excuse to get together with fellow bloggers and workmates to have a little fun.

I had a hand in organising the 27dinner this time around so thanks to my precise organisational skills, things were all set to go as planned until Eskom failed to comply with my socialising calendar.  read more here »

This month's 27dinner in Jozi was really a case of seeing through the first Spring rain to be one of the few people that attended the event, and who walked away being truly inspired by what South African start-up companies are capable of creating.

The venue was the ol' Studio at Primi Piatti in Rosebank, which is quite a cosy venue for the event even though you might keel over from smoke inhalation, as was mentioned to me after the evening's events was over. I don't know about you but I hate stinking of stake cigarette smoke after a night out so perhaps the next 27Dinner can be held at a better ventilated restaurant, perhaps.  read more here »
